Success Stories

The Community Cat Connection is proud to announce that we are now accepting success stories from anyone and everyone who has adopted a kitty from us. This even goes back to the days when the CCC was operating out of Trudy's house! To have your kitty on our site, please send an e-mail to info@ccatconnect.org with at least one picture and a story, description, or anything which you feel would help our readers know just how well your cat is doing in his/her forever loving home.

RUMPUSS & SWEET PEA (now Peanut Butter and Jelly)

We adopted Rumpuss and Sweet Pea (now Peanut Butter and Jelly) back in January. We were looking for a friend for our first cat, Oliver (the black kitty in the pictures), but we couldn't resist this pair. They came from a home with many other cats so we thought they wouldn't mind living with our Oliver. They were VERY shy and scared at the CCC, but had only been there for a few days. We decided to take the chance with this skittish pair and believe us, it was worth it! They just needed more time to adjust and come out of their shells. After living with us for a few weeks, they began to rule the roost and even boss the dogs around. They cuddle with Oliver and sometimes with the dogs. Peanut Butter (brown/black tiger cat) is always looking for head rubs and loves to purr in you face at 6 am looking for breakfast. Jelly (blue-eyed lynx point tiger cat) could play with a string toy for hours and likes to be a show off. They are very happy in their new home and we are very happy to have them. We even built a giant cat house soon after their arrival as you can see in the pictures below! They like to battle over who gets the top seat

BENJAMIN

So far, Benjamin has been SUCH a love bug! I am so excited about it. We were petless for a while and we wanted a furball that would be independent since we are out of the house quite a bit, but one that was sociable and good at catching mice!

He has been such a joy to have, absolutely loves it here and great company. He plays with his stuffed toys all the time, and sleeps on our laps and beds. We are so happy with him and think he's really happy here too!

MIA AND COOPER

Mia and Cooper are doing GREAT!! It did not take them long to adjust and start taking over their new home. They get along with the dogs and are loved by everyone! They have made a very positive change in the house. Thank you so much for all you did for them.

JODI (now Rusty)

We adopted Rusty (previously named Jodi) this past August. He is wonderful and we love him so much, and he's getting bigger every day!

CUPCAKE (now Penny)

Penny/Cupcake and Rascal are getting bigger every day! Rascal is as big as Penny now, and both appear happy and content. They go back to see Dr. Mike on Tuesday for their next set of shots; I think this may be their last trip in that soft carrier ... at least together. I think we'll have to invest in a larger one soon. The big news is how much stronger Penny is ... she stands on her back legs many times every day, and uses the kitty litter most of the time now. She's gotten so good with the kitty litter that she and Rascal sleep with us at night now.

SKITTLES, SPRINKLE, AND FROSTY

CUPID AND BETTY (now Diva and Dolce)

I just wanted to update you and your staff on two of your most recent rescues. I adopted Cupid and Betty, now known as Diva and Dolce, in early July. They are both doing wonderful and are very happy. They continue to be the best of friends and spend most of the day playing. They are very much spoiled by their Mom and Dad. Thank you again for your kind hearts. You are all doing a very wonderful act.

WHIMPY (now Brady)

KENNY (now Tucker)

Tucker is now 12 weeks old and into absolutely everything! As you may have noticed, we have changed his name. Kenny, though a nice name, did not really capture his personality. We think Tucker is a perfect fit. Here are seven of my favorite pictures. He is definitely the king of the household and we love him more than ever!

PEANUT BUTTER AND MUSTACHE (now Peanut Butter and Oreo)

Just wanted to send some pictures of Peanut Butter and Oreo. Oreo was called Mustache while he was staying with you. We love having these adorable kittens in our home, and they seem to love it here themselves. Thanks again to Ozzie for finding these wonderful kittens for us.

TINKERBELL

Just wanted to give you an update on Tinky. She is doing GREAT! What a nice little girl she is. Very sweet and loving and content. She loves going for rides in the car and coming to my work to be admired all day long! She has such a sweet disposition. She has made friends with the rest of the gang at home and it's so nice to see them playing "chase" and "surprise!" When I woke up yesterday, her and the Chihuahua were curled up together next to me. She has gained weight and we go tomorrow for her vet visit. Please let everyone know that she is very happy with us and we couldn't love her more. Thank you again for picking us to be her family!

SALT (now Foxy)

My new name is Foxy (a.k.a. Salt). I love, love, love my new home! My mommy is the sweety I have always prayed for. She kisses me so sweet and rubs my tummy. I've got tons of soft places to snooze and my very own bed!

It took me four months at the CCC to "finally" find my forever home and I couldn't be happier. I'm in love with my new mommy and she loves me to pieces.

My many thanks for everyone at the CCC to help me to adjust to a normal kitty life while I lived there.

I love you all for all your help.

Sincerely,
Foxy
